Morten Ebbesen founded Siteimprove in Denmark in 2003. December 2015, Siteimprove received a USD 55 million minority investment from global growth equity firm Summit Partners. In 2020, Nordic Capital took a majority ownership position in Siteimprove.

Chief Financial Officer: Martin M Fitzpatrick has over 25 years of experience in the enterprise software space, having served in senior leadership positions in both private and public companies over multiple industries. 

Chief Marketing Officer: Christy Marble is a visionary marketing executive with deep expertise in scalable growth across B2B and B2C companies. 

Chief Human Resources Officer: Britt Provost is a people and talent executive with over 20 years of experience in the global and growth tech space. 

Chief Information Officer: Robbie Roberts is a seasoned technology leader with over 20 years of experience, known for driving technical business transformation and fostering operational excellence in competitive market sectors. 

EVP Global Sales: Gary Higgins brings 25 years of experience as a sales leader to his role and has helped scale sales organizations from startup to enterprise status. 

SVP Engineering: Clay Garrard is a seasoned technology executive with over 20 years of experience and is known for driving operational excellence, fostering innovation, and delivering transformative business results. 

General Counsel: Mads Sørensen is the General Counsel of Siteimprove, overseeing Siteimprove’s global legal organization including contracts, compliance matters, corporate governance, risk management, vendor management and M&A support. 

Board of Directors 

Siteimprove's governance is also guided by a Board of Directors. With experience in software, private equity, and human resources, the board provides strategic oversight and guidance across various critical aspects of Siteimprove's business and growth. 

Chairman of the Board: John Damgaard is a highly experienced software CEO and Director with a track record of exceptional value creation. John holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Northern Iowa as a Presidential Scholar and an MBA with Distinction from Bradley University. 

Board Member: Morten Ebbesen is the founder of Siteimprove and currently serves on its Board of Directors. He founded Siteimprove in 2003 and led the company as CEO for 18 years, growing it from a startup into a global SaaS leader helping organizations optimize their digital presence and performance. In 2021, Morten transitioned from CEO to Board Member, continuing to support Siteimprove’s strategic direction and long-term growth. 

Board Member: Scott Jones is a Software Executive with over 25 years of experience including General Management and Senior Sales Executive roles at large enterprise, start-up and early stage high growth companies. 

Board Member: Philipp Krispin is a Director in the Technology & Payments investment team at Nordic Capital. He has +10 years of software and growth private equity experience. 

Board Member: Fredrik Näslund joined Nordic Capital in March 2001 and has been with the firm for over 20 years. He has been the responsible advisor for more than 30 platform investments across the Technology & Payments and Healthcare sectors.
